Student: Why can't I see other students' replies in a Q and A forum?
You will learn why you can't see other students' replies (posts) in a Q and A forum type.
There are several different types of forums your instructor may choose from when building a discussion forum. One such type is a Q and A forum.
This guide has been updated to TITANium 2019-2020.
1. Enter your course in TITANium.

2. Click on the link to the forum.

3. The forum displays.
Note the red text at the top of the discussion forum stating that you can only see other students' posts once you have posted yourself.

4. Click on the title of the instructor's post.

5. The instructor's post displays.

6. Click on the Reply link in the bottom right-hand corner of the instructor's post.

7. Type a Subject for your post.

8. Type the text for your post.

9. Decide whether to subscribe.

10. Drag and drop any images or files for uploading.

11. Click on Post to forum.

12. You have 30 minutes to edit your post.
Note: It will take 30 minutes before you will be able to see other students' posts in the forum.

13. Your post is now displayed below the instructor's post.

If a different student enters the forum...

Your post will not be visible to them until they make their own post.

The new student needs to click on Reply to make their own post.

14. Other students' posts are now visible once you have posted and they have posted.
Note: It will take 30 minutes before you will be able to see other students' posts in the forum.

15. To reply to another student, click on the Reply link in the bottom right-hand corner of their post.
