How do I set the ShareStream Pick-n-Play to allow students to upload video or audio?
You will learn how to enable students to upload video and audio using ShareStream Pick-n-Play.
Follow these steps after you have added the ShareStream Pick-n-Play block to your course main page.
This guide has been updated for TITANium 2019-2020.
1. Click on the Pick-n-Play link.
2. Click on the Gear icon within Pick-N-Play.
3. Click on the first slider until it turns light blue.
The first slider (Allow students to submit media to the Instructor's Media Inbox) will allow students to upload video and audio files using the Pick-n-Play block.
The second slider (Allow students to submit media from Learning Management System's assignment tool) will allow students to upload video and audio using the ShareStream button in the textbox menu for a forum post or an assignment submission (provided online text submission is also enabled within the assignment activity).
A student video, once uploaded, will not be visible within the forum or assignment post. It will at first be only visible to the instructor within Pick-n-Play. The instructor must "publish it to the course" before students can view it. Nevertheless, student uploaded video/audio will only be visible to students in Pick-n-Play (unless the instructor inserts the video or audio asset into an activity or resource within the course).
4. Click on Save.
5. Students will now see the 'Submit Media to Instructor' link within Pick-n-Play.
Students can now click on Pick-n-Play and upload media assets to the course.
You have now learned how to enable your students to upload video and audio content to the ShareStream Pick-n-Play block within your course in TITANium.
