How do I link to a ShareStream video using the External tool?
You will learn how to link to a video using the External tool. This guide is for videos (or audio) which you upload to ShareStream.
Attention: If you already have one or more videos in Sharestream, but not in this course, you should copy them now. If you don't have any videos in this course's ShareStream folder, then you can follow these steps to upload a new video.
This guide has been updated for TITANium 2019-2020.

2. Click on the Gear icon.

Note: The computer generated captions are far from perfect but are better than nothing. Captions, once created, can be edited manually in the MediaManager. It may take a couple of hours or more for the computer-generated captions to become available for students when viewing your video.
5. Click on Upload.
6. Click on Add.
You have have a to wait for several minutes depending upon the size of the video file. A small introduction video may only take a couple of minutes, but a longer 15-minute video may take 10 or more to upload.
7. Type a new title if desired.
8. Click on Save and display.
9. Your video is now ready for students to view.
Note: If you have a message stating "Processing", then the video will not be available to view until the transcoding process is complete. The longer the video, the longer the process will take.
For a small lecture video (15 minutes), count on the transcoding to take about 30 minutes. Therefore, plan in advance and upload your video at least an hour before you actually need it.
