How do I add the Messages block?

You will learn how to add the Messages block for sending and receiving Messages (or email) with the students in your course.

The Messages module has certain limitations. You can only send a plain text message (internally within TITANium) or a plain text email (to the student's CSUF email account). The Messages block can be added to the Dashboard page or to any course main page. To set up and use the Messages block on the course main page, follow these steps.

Note: The current version of TITANium (academic year 2017-2018) has a Messages toggle just to the left of the User menu. So, adding the Messages block is rather redundent and doesn't offer any additional features.

1. Enter your course in TITANium.
