How do I add my syllabus?
You will learn how to add a syllabus to your course. The simplest method of adding a file will be shown below. Other methods may include using the Book activity module, the Page activity module, the Lesson activity module, SCORM, Quiz, etc. depending on the level of interactivity you want students to have with the syllabus.
1. Enter your course in TITANium.
2. Click on the Gear icon.
3. Click on Turn editing on.
The Gear menu reveals the following links: Edit settings, Turn editing on, Filters, Gradebook setup, Outcomes, Backup, Restore, Import, Recycle bin, Reset, and More...
4. Drag your file to the course main page.
Choose the Topic section where you want to place the link to the syllabus. Then, drag the file from your computer to the course main page. The file will upload to the web site. For this example, the syllabus is an Adobe PDF file. However, a Microsoft Word document (doc, docx) is also a popular file format to upload. Almost any type of file can be uploaded in this way.
5. The file is now displayed on the course main page.
6. Click on the User menu and select Switch role to...
The remaining steps are unnecessary, but will allow you to see the course from the student's view.
