Student: How do I upload video or audio using ShareStream Pick-n-Play?
You will learn how to upload your own video or audio file to your course in TITANium using the ShareStream Pick-n-Play block.
1. Enter your course in TITANium.
2. Click on the ShareStream Pick-n-Play link.
Tip: The ShareStream Pick-n-Play block should be in the right-hand column of the course main page, but might not necessarily be the first block listed. Scroll down the page if necessary to find it. If you are on a mobile device, the blocks are usually pushed to the bottom of the page.
To upload a video, you must be using a PC or MAC computer. You cannot upload a video or audio file from your phone or tablet. If you make a video or audio recording on your phone or tablet, transfer it to a desktop or laptop computer before trying to upload it.
3. The videos within this course will appear in a list.
The first two icons on the left represent folders that the instructor has created. The other images are thumbnails for videos which the instructor has uploaded to this course for students to view. You can browse the course videos as desired.
4. Click on Submit Media to Instructor.
Quite a variety of files types can be uploaded. Here are some examples of audio and video files which can be uploaded via the Pick-N-Play block.
Common Audio file types: mp3, m4a, wma, wav
Common Video file types: mp4, mov, m4v, wmv, flv, avi
5. Navigate to the video or audio file.
6. Double-Click the file.
7. Type a title.
Your instructor may request students to be specific in their use of the Title, Contributor, and Description fields. Be sure to read the assignment requirements before uploading your file.
8. Type your name as the Contributor.
9. Type a Description if requested by the instructor.
10. Click on Upload.
11. When the upload is complete, click on the X.
Your video or audio file is now uploaded to the Pick-n-Play block.
