How do I add a VoiceThread activity in my TITANium course?

You will learn how to add a VoiceThread to your TITANium course.

VoiceThread enables students to easily communicate and interact around media (video, presentations, images, or documents). Students can post comments by audio, video, or text. It takes just a minute to see how!

Instructors have the option of creating graded assignments around VoiceThread. Students can also record their own VoiceThreads.

1. Enter your TITANium course

Below is a sample course.

7. Add an Activity name.

The Activity name is a plain text entry field. This will be the name of the link to the Activity on the course main page and in the Gradebook.

Enter Activity Name

Including an Action word in the name, e.g., Submit, makes the purpose of the link clear.

8. Select the Grade settings.

To create a gradebook column for a scored VoiceThread assignment, enter the maximum point value.

Maximum grade of 20 points entered

The score entered in VoiceThread for a graded assignment created with Assignment Builder will be automatically transferred to the gradebook.

For non-scored VoiceThread activities, change the Grade Type to None using the Type menu. This will prevent a score column from being added to your gradebook.
