How do I display a Google Calendar in my course?

You will learn how to embed (display) a Google Calendar within your course in TITANium.

There are three parts involved in the process of embedding your Google Calendar.

  1. Getting the embed code from your calendar.
  2. Setting the Calendar for Sharing.
  3. Pasting the embed code into an activity or resource within your course in TITANium.

2.2. Check the box for 'Make this calendar public'.

If you don't make the calendar public, then others will not see your calendar. The page simply won't display for them. Unfortunately, setting the calendar for sharing will make the calendar visible to everyone who not only has the link but to anyone who searches for it in Google Search.

The calendar must be set to share with all users. If you, instead, want to share the calendar with only a few fellow faculty members, embedding the calendar in TITANium is not the right choice. Instead, you should share the calendar with specific users and give them the direct link to the calendar.

Check the box for 'Make this calendar public'.
